Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Rabium. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. What Rabium is

Rabium is a birthday reminder service. You share a personal link. Your friends submit their birthdays. Both of you receive the other's birthday in return, either inside Rabium or on your Google Calendar.

2. Who can use Rabium

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your password and your Google account secure.
  • You are responsible for everything done with your account.
  • Do not impersonate another person. Do not use a name, username, or email that you do not have the right to use.
  • Do not create accounts for others without their permission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Rabium to harass, threaten, or harm others.
  • Submit another person's birthday without their consent.
  • Scrape, mine, or bulk-collect data from the service.
  • Attempt to break, bypass, or disable any part of the service.
  • Use Rabium to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages.
  • Use Rabium for any purpose that is illegal in your jurisdiction.

5. Your content

You own the personal data you submit (your name, email, birthday, username, and other profile details). You grant us permission to store and process it solely to run the service.

The Rabium name, logo, and underlying code are ours. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute them without permission.

6. Google Calendar integration

If you connect your Google Calendar, you give us permission to create, update, and delete birthday events on your calendar. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account settings or from your Rabium Account Settings page.

Rabium's use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

We are not responsible for anything that happens on your Google Calendar outside of the birthday events we create.

7. Availability

Rabium is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that it will be available at all times or free of errors. We may pause, modify, or discontinue the service at any time.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Rabium. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you have paid Rabium in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email or through the app. Continued use of Rabium after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
